Day Trips, Custom Trips

We understand that not everyone has time to join our expedition style tours, and that you may wish to travel on your own schedule.  That is where our Custom Tours or Day Trips come in.

Our day trips are designed to be fun, engaging, and filled with enough adventure to fill your camera full of memories. These tours are designed for the introductory level sea kayaker and are only an eight hour commitment.  

We often view seals and a few bird colonies in the area that we paddle.   If weather cooperates, there are many islets to explore for your enjoyment.

Day Trips Details & On Demand.

• Basic guidline – Day trips are $175 per person ( plus 8% PST), and accommodate a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 10 participants.
• Trip pricing is done by quote – each trip is priced based on the logistics. Once you know when and or your group is on island, as the time approaches we will confirm the trip and take deposit.
• The weather and what you would like to do & what can be done is variable & flexible.
• Various trips will be going at different times. Join in or if you want create your own.
• All kayaking and safety gear will be provided by your guides.
• The option to use a single or double fibreglass kayak is available.
• All day trips start and finish from:  Alliford Bay or include transport from Gould’s Beach House to start point. Optional ferry landing pick up.
• 471 Beach Rd  Sandspit, British Columbia
• Transportation and pick up is included.
• Bag Lunch & snacks supplied.
• Tour departure is dependent on weather and tide conditions.

Everything from honeymoons, birthdays, anniversaries, family vacations, exclusive groups, conferences and skill based excursions are offerd.  It’s best to contact us early to plan so you can get what you desire.

The itinerary will be based on your wishes!

Would you like accomodation? Are you multiple days ? Skill levels and safety are priority. Are we hilking to starting point or boat transport.

Complete outfitting. Pricing based on group size. Guide ratio 1 – 5. Logistics. Paddling days.

Options: Cumshewa Inlet. Skidegate Inlet. Peel inlet. Some of these trips are combined Hiking, Camping, Kayaking. We do not go to Gwaii Haanas.
