Water Sports Equipment
- Kayaks: Single and double kayaks available, complete with paddles and life jackets. Rent them out for the afternoon, week, or jump on a Custom Trip with one of our Hosts!
- Stand-Up Paddle Boards: Enjoy a fun day on the water with our stand-up paddle boards. Choose from 4 options:
- 2x durable plastic boards (great for rugged use around barnacles),
- 1x fiberglass Jimmy Styx,
- 1x inflatable paddleboard from MEC, perfect for taking to remote lakes.
- Surfboards: “Surf’s up on North Beach!” We offer a couple of advanced surfboards for those looking to catch waves.
- Zodiac Boat: A 15-foot Zodiac with a 30hp Johnson tiller motor—ideal for explorers. You must have a boat license and experience to book this. Keep in mind, “The ocean can be unforgiving,” and once you’re out there, the coast guard may be your best friend.
Hiking Gear
- Backcountry Equipment: Everything you could need for backcountry adventures, including tents, camp stoves, and cooking equipment.
- Hiking Boots: We have a selection of sturdy hiking boots for comfortable treks through the islands.
Bicycles
- Bikes: Several mountain and road bikes available for leisurely rides or rugged trails.
- Boogie Boards, Wetsuits, and Survival Suits: Ideal for water-based adventures around the islands.
Rain Gear
- Rain Coats: Stay dry during unexpected showers with our durable rain jackets.
- Gum Boots: Perfect for muddy trails or beach walks, our gum boots provide excellent protection against the elements.
Camping Gear
- Backpacks, Tents, and Headlamps: All the gear you need for a successful camping trip on Haida Gwaii’s scenic landscapes.
Vehicles
- 2010 Grand Caravan: A versatile vehicle that can be converted to carry 7 passengers or transformed into a sleeper with a bed and ample storage space for camping gear—ideal for those looking to hit the road and camp in comfort.
All rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we recommend arranging in advance, especially during peak seasons. Treat the equipment with care, and we’ll be happy to assist you with any questions about its use.
