Day Trips & Custom Excursions
We understand that not everyone has time to join an expedition-style tour, and that’s where our Custom Tours or Day Trips come in. Perfect for those seeking shorter, yet fulfilling experiences, our day trips are fun, engaging, and filled with enough adventure to leave your camera full of memories.
These tours are designed for the introductory sea kayaker and launch from Sandspit Harbor or Alliford Bay, depending on the skill level of participants, weather, and tides. Often, you’ll see seals and local bird colonies as you paddle through the tranquil waters, with many nearby islets to explore if the weather permits.
Day Trip Details:
- Cost: $175 per person (+8% PST), minimum 3, maximum 10 participants
- Guide Ratio: 1:5
- Kayaks & Gear: Single or double fiberglass kayaks, all safety gear provided
- Location: Typically launches from 471 Beach Rd, Sandspit, or Alliford Ferry Landing
- Transportation: Pickup available in Sandspit or ferry landing
- Schedule: Early morning departures with late returns, flexible to suit your needs
